On our first full day we took Grandpa fishing...boy was he excited and had the best time! We had some first...first fish for both Brandon and dad.
On our 2nd full day we visited, did a little fishing at the local pond and caught a ton of fish, went to the alpine slide and stayed up late playing cards, ping pong and bags AND sang our hearts out to grandpa with a BIG Happy Birthday Song and cake.
On our 3rd full day we set out for Duck Creek Village and rented 3 RZR's for some back road fun.
And then we hit up a view point of Cedar Breaks on the way back to the cabin.
And then you 3 boys hit the trails
We had a blast celebrating Grandpa and creating memories as a family under one roof
Then it was down the hill to stay in Cedar City for the night. I had discovered a hike a couple years ago and have been itching to do since. It was about a mile hike back before reaching shade and water and it's beauty. Water, creeks, tall canyon walls, waterfalls, natural slides, ladders to climb up over waterfalls and so much beauty to discover. We all hiked away happy!!
As we were 15 mins from Jackson we received a call from our friends/neighbors to see if we were in town you. They were staying in Idaho but had come over to Jackson for the day and wanted to have dinner with us before they headed back...talk about perfect timing. So dinner it was!
The next day we spent some time exploring the town and to see what are options were for exploring even more. We had so much fun walking around.
We even did the cowboy coaster up at the ski resort.
Later that evening we took an open air truck tour through the Grand Tetons to see it's beauty and all the wildlife. We saw so much and had an amazing time.
What a way to end the day!!! Just gorgeous!!
The next day we hiked around Jenny Lake to Hidden Falls and took the ferry back
We then headed to lunch and visitor center
And then off to Bar J for a chuck wagon dinner
Friday, we took you boys to the Jackson Hole Bike Park up at the ski resort. You rode for 5 hours straight...non-stop!!
And then you boys zonked out for the rest of the day!
So dad and I snuck away to the famous Cowboy Bar for a couple of drinks
On Saturday I wasn't feeling well so dad took you boys into town to pick out some souvenirs (knives) and exploring the hills above town on bike.
On our last day we headed to Yellowstone...and it stole my heart! Wow is this place amazing. I could explore for a week and still not see it all.
We had an amazing day and wish we had at least one more day to explore the upper loop. Unfortunately we have to head home...but we will be back!
One more night in our cute cabin...
And one more swing on the swing set you spent all your time on when we were at the cabin...haha!
