Vail Race 1

First Vail race of the season...it's been raining but the clouds opened up for all the races today...and literally just for the 3 hours of racing.  Amazing!  Grandpas was here with us today to cheer you on. You did amazing and dad thinks this was your best race yet even though you have podium'd before.  Today you came in shy by 1 for podium and placed 6th. So proud of you and all your hard work...it really does show and how much love you have for this sport.  You had a back of the line start and within minutes had passed many.  By the first time you passed me...you were already in 8th and by the 2nd time around holding a steady 6th place.  By the time you came across the finish line you would have had 5th had there been another minute of the race.  Well done buddy...well done!
